LATE NITE HP PERFORMERS

The Boy Named Crow
Indie / Post Punk

The Boy Named Crow is an Indie / Post Punk band from the North Shore of Chicago. The band was officially formed in June of 2007 when members Pat Daley (Drums) Matt Cline (Vocals/Rhythm Guitar) Will Roever (Lead Guitar) and Phil Conklin (Bass) created a unique sound one Friday night. Since then, TBNC has developed a strong track list of original songs and formed a core fan-base through performance at The Congress Theatre, The Boiler Room and Reggie's Rock Club. Last summer, TBNC was crowned champions of the 2008 Taste of Chicago Battle of the Bands. In 2009, TBNC was welcomed back to the Taste of Chicago for a 4th of July performance of the "Taste Stage."

With a number of shows under their belts, TBNC recorded their first EP this past June at RaxTrax studios, and hopes to gain's momentum in the Indie scene through their 2009 summer tour. The bands philosophy can be summed up in one simple quote: "If we end up making it big--that would be a blessing. But for now, we will continue to do what we have always done: play every night as if it were the first time we had met, and the last time we would ever be on stage."
