Kathy Reichert has been playing guitar and writing songs for more years than she'd care to admit. It has only been for the past 5 years, however that she has been performing them in public, at the urging of friends and family.

She has performed alone and with friends at open mikes in and around Chicago, as well as in St Paul MN., Elkhart IN. and Great Barrington, MA.

Musical influences include the Beatles, (of course) Aimee Mann, Bruce Springsteen, Joni Mitchell, and a host of others.

"My songs are very personal. They are about my life and the lives of my friends and family.
